Yamakasi Mix-Tape

Posted by misterparkour on September 21, 2008

Here is a spectacular Parkour mix-tape featuring the Yamakasi. A handful of their students also perform in the video, but the majority of the footage includes Yann Hnautra, Châu Belle-Dinh, and Laurent Piemontesi. You may recognize many of the locations as being in and around Lisses and Evry, however many of the moves performed are original to the structures and specifically attributable to the Yamakasi’s style. Although there is a noteworthy amount of flips and aesthetic non-necessary movement in many of the sequences, the majority of the action is a pure demonstration of efficient Parkour athleticism. Highly entertaining for the outstanding athletic performance and faced paced action showcased in the video, an excellent music accompaniment also contributes to making this mix-tape extremely engaging for its viewers.

Ruslan Dzavadov in Tunisiana

Posted by misterparkour on September 18, 2008

Here is an incredible Parkour video featuring Ruslan Dzavadov. Filmed by Oleg “Red” Krasnyanskiy of Tracers.ru, the high production quality is trumped only by the incredible David-Belle-esk performance turned in by Ruslan. Filmed in Tunisiana this video features great music and, for once in a blue moon, pure Parkour.

Posted by misterparkour on September 7, 2008

This is an older, but nevertheless superb compilation of great Parkour action. The video features many prominent Tracers including David Belle, Sébastien Foucan, Stephane Vigroux, and members of the Yamakasi to name a few, and contains footage from Le Tuyau, Un Lundi Cool, the Bont Commercial and BBC Commercial both featuring David, Accroches Toi, Speed Air Man, and other prominent videos.

Expanding MisterParkour.com

Posted by misterparkour on September 6, 2008

At MisterParkour.com we strive to bring the most prevalent, professional, and accurate Parkour related videos, articles, and media spots to our members and the international Parkour community. Up until now we have achieved this by successfully making MisterParkour.com the most succinct compendium of the best Parkour videos on the internet. However in accomplishing this we have basically run out of new videos to post that feature David Belle, Sébastien Foucan, Stephane Vigroux and the Yamakasi.

For the record we do still have a few videos in our vault featuring prominent founding Tracers. But although we will be posting some of these in the near future, others we may not ever post for the simple fact that they are not relevant enough and we do not want to open the flood gates to “if you posted this video why won’t you post this one?” which could lead to crowding this site with “waste of your time” Parkour posts.

Even though we have virtually run out of David Belle videos, we also do not want MisterParkour.com to stop growing. In an effort to continue brining our members the most exceptional Parkour media features in the world we have decided to expand our library to include a broader range of Parkour productions. Starting tomorrow we will begin featuring videos, articles and news spots from producers you may not have heard of before and featuring Tracers that you may have never seen perform. But do not expect anything less than the best from MisterParkour.com. Although these posts may not feature David we can assure you that they will all be well worth your time spent viewing them.

As we embark on this new endeavor, feel free to contact us through out contact page to send us your suggestions, ideas, and recommendations, for the site and/or for specific posts, and as always thank you for being an integral part of MisterParkour.com.

Website Updates: Partners and Donations

Posted by misterparkour on September 2, 2008

Even though MisterParkour.com possesses the most succinct online compendium of the best Parkour videos on the planet, we are not satisfied with only providing this resource. With members on MisterParkour.com spanning the globe we have been working hard on some great new features that will further unite the global Parkour community. We will hopefully be adding these features to the site in the next couple weeks but until then we wanted to outline two of our most recent additions to the site.

#1. We have successfully added a Partners page to MisterParkour.com. Currently there are four companies that have partnered with MisterParkour.com. These companies (with icons featured below) have fully embraced Parkour and are working in their own areas of expertise to aid the expansion of the sport. We fully believe in and stand behind the products and services these companies produce and we hope that you will take the time to learn more about them just as they have invested time to bring Parkour to a more prominent international platform.

#2. MisterParkour.com is a completely non-profit website. As you can see we do not host advertisements, and there are absolutely no other profit streams coming from this site. However, it does take a considerable amount of time and to develop and maintain this site and as such many have been wondering how to assist MisterParkour.com by donating to the site. We have been very grateful for the interest in supporting the site and to meet such requests we have provided a simple and convenient way to donate on our Contact page. The donations run through PayPal, one of the most trusted online money handling companies in the world, and you do not need a PayPal account to use it. You can click the link below or go the contact page and follow the simple instructions to contribute. We sincerely appreciate your donations and all contributions received will be invested directly back into the site’s development.

As we said at the beginning of this post, in addition to these new features we have many more expansions that we will be adding soon. Until then stay tuned, and as always thank you for being a part of MisterParkour.com!
